This is a pristine Bino Vue Binocular Viewer manufactured in Japan as ATM Super Wide Binocular System, later taken over by TeleVue and sold today as TeleVue's Bino Vue BVP-2002. This unit is fitted with a Bino View 2X barlow as well as a 2" drawtube adapter. You can use this on almost any telescope. I use it on my TV NP101 and the views are incredible. I've had a chance to try this unit on many clear nights, and the viewing of Jupiter, M13 and the moon is outstanding. My colleagues are in awe of the images, even compared to my single Nagler eyepieces! It includes self-centering eyepiece inserts so you can use 23.2mm diameter eyepieces. The eyepiece holders are self-centering like BW Optic old models. It's in like New Condition, no marks anywhere, the Bino Vue 27mm oversize prisms and compensator/barlow lenses are pristine.
Comes with Bino Vue 2X compensator (Barlow.) Also included is the optional 2" prime focus adapter for 1X viewing without a compensator. The 2x Amplifier compensator fully corrects for the introduction of spherical, color and astigmatism in prisms, along with path length compensation. On the telescope side is a T2 thread (M42x0.75)
