    Description

    Dresden Porcelain Hand Painted Cherub & Gilt Ormolu Wax Letter AL Stamp Seal
    19th Century gilt ormolu and porcelain wax letter stamp / seal. The porcelain is nicely decorated with a hand painted cherub in the clouds, holding a floral garland. The bottom of the porcelain is a reddish maroon with gold gilt trim and decoration with raised gilding and raised white enamel jewels. It is in a Rococo scrolls & shell gilt ormolu mount. The seal has the initials AL on the bottom. Probably made by Meissen or one of the Dresden factories.
    Good condition with no chips or cracks.
    Measures approximately 1/2 inches wide x 3 1/2 inches tall.
    This is an antique and may  have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
