    Dresden Hand Painted Castle Landscape Pompadour Pink & Gold 10 3/4 Inch Plate B
    Nice porcelain dinner sized cabinet plate. Decorated with a castle, water, and trees landscape scene framed in a gold gilt rectangular in the center. The scene is surrounded by a pompadour pink background with gold gilt floral scrollwork designs. Gold gilding along the edge. Has a gold crossed and anchor mark on the reverse.
    Probably made in Austria during the late 19th or early 20th century, but decorated in Dresden, Germany. The mark is pictured on page 100 of the Dresdner Porzellan book by Klaus-Peter Arnold.
    Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.
    Measures approximately 10 3/4 inches wide.
    This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
