If you know anything about these you know they are the first and best SCT from Celestron, optically and mechanically. The images are very sharp. It may need mirrors collimated after shipping. However, I just aligned them looking at Jupiter and Saturn. Cassini visible clearly, on Saturn, mouth on Jupiter, bands, festons, eclipses also. Astrophotography on planets is geat with this scope, using Registax.

    Description

Take the opportunity to own one of the very few, Blue and White C-10's ever built and ever left. Most are gone, and they are impossible to find. The optics and craftsmanship on this thing is incredible. The images are very sharp and mirror coatings, surprisingly good for their age. This was Celestron's original SCT, and it has a three spindle focusing cell, that eliminates image shift. This comes complete with Pier and power cord. This is a big telescope and you can expect to see the rings on Saturn, and mouth on Jupiter. Comes with visual back, one eyepiece, finder scope, counter weight and dust cover. It is really hard to find these collector telescopes, much less this complete. The telescope has scuffs from age and use, but no dents. Ask about the one I have that has no scufffs at all? This thing is a F/13.5, so it does better on the planets than your average, SCT. These scopes were normally owned by universities, and at the time of their production, costed half as much as a Volkswagon Beatle. This one comes with a tripod, and wedge, not the pier pictured.  Continental US bidders only.
